Went here on a Sunday night for a downstairs show, and I'm in love with the venue. So roomy, with seating if one desires (prices are a little more, but not much in my case), and an awesome bar. Drinks were a bit pricey, and food was not vegetarian-friendly--boo!--but the atmosphere was so chill and relaxed, I'll definitely be back!!

i honestly don't think i would have gone inside this bar had i checked out Rateclub before - 2 1/2 stars does not lure me into a place, but my gay boys dragged me in here because of the booming music, NO COVER, and west hollywood like attitude inside. the bar in the center takes up WAY too much room. the boys serving the liquor apparently need all that room to shake their ass. i don't care to see you dance while you serve my drink. due to this, the "dance floor" area is severely lacking. i got pushed, bumped, proded, poked, and spilled on at least 5 times within the half hour i was there. the drinks were ok, maybe because it was pride weekend the bars were being extra stingy because my vodka tonic was lacking vodka.. on a side note, the DJ is rather scary looking. but he played decent house music. i'll settle at 3 for the music, scene, and no cover charge.

For a new restaurant that is still ironing out the kinks...you couldn't expect more (other than maybe shims to stop the table wobble.) Setting that aside, the food was spectacular and the presentation flawless! Despite of the young beauties that greet you upon entering, the vibe is sophisticated with classy decor you might expect in a Ritz Carlton or Bellagio...However, the crowd was mostly 40 to 50 somethings. Chris the sommelier was exceptionally sharp and knew his fine wines. We wished we had met him a bit sooner in the experience as he could have better paired the delicious wines our friend brought with the food that was coming...but those are forgivable for a new establishment.
