Imagine what your high school gym looks like. Imagine it with a bar to the side. Imagine your high school homecoming but with alcohol and god. girls with more spandex and even less clothing. Voila! You have Sugar. Even the smoking area is lined with those wire gate/fences from HS. Ditching. Getting banged on campus. Such sweet sweet memories. Not. Forgive me for the vague review but I think I had fun. But I also think I was bored. Bored enough to take up smoking that night. As a matter of fact, I bummed my first ciggie of the night from some girl sitting next to us. WTF. Why are we smoking inside? Why am I smoking inside. Ewww. Why am I smoking to begin with? Gross. Between that and pissing 1029 times I think I did all right. I vaguely remember drinking something. It wasn't strong at all. In fact, it made me nauseous and sober. At least I hope. I'm sure I fell a couple times too. and because of my reckless dress i'm sure a tit fell out but whose looking. It's damn dark in there. Truthfully, this is my 2nd clubbing experience and I'm not sold. God. Give me some Rocky Road and my Hitachi wand any Saturday night. [no, i'm not reenacting one girl one cup action].

This is where we had the after party on the night Cal and I celebrated our engagement with friends. I was already beyond buzzed (from all the bubbly at Bubble Lounge) when the girls decided to kidnap me. Well, they said they were going to, but I ended up at some Chinese restaurant with another group of friends before heading off to this place. We made it an hour before closing, and just in time for last call. The music was fun, and we got the VIP seating area. The DJ made an announcement congratulating Cal and me, but I didn't realize it until everyone in my party started cheering. It was a Friday night and there were plenty of room to dance. I don't remember much, but I remember having a great time.

My fav. digs! I love this place almost as much as I love my moms. I basically live at this hotel and I fall in love with it more each time I'm there. Now, if only my relationships with humans were this passionate! HR is old Hollywood glamour meets the Partridge Family and has lunch with Lindsay Lohan. Stay in the poolside cabanas - not the tower (not that its bad, just not the same). The cabana rooms are gorgeous! Suede, and goatskin, and concrete - oh my! Wild Earth, minimalist - chic. The Tropicana Bar and pool are a blast - packed with beautiful people, the people that make them beautiful, and the people to work out the contracts in between. Though flashy, the scene and aura are chill. The food at Tropicana is Jem - truly, truly, truly outrageous. If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be the sliders (god's gift to hamburgers) washed down with a "million dollar mojito." Weekends are crazy and loud, so this is not a hotel for granny and the family but if you want to have a blast and have a little coin - you'll love it! ***Don't cheap out - get a cabana if available!
