by Jessica D. on After reading the reviews, we thought we'd give it a try and were looking for a place that has Mariachi on a Friday night. The Mariachi was great and didn't charge per song which is awesome...the service was also great. Everyone was really friendly and we had a large group so I called and reserved a table and it was ready when we got there. That was top-notch, no complaints there! Now on to the food: I will say the food wasn't the best...salsa was good, queso was more like velvetta (not a fan but the kids didn't mind). So overall, it was a-ok...but I really think they have such a great location and the possibility to make this place hard to get into. They just need to work with fresh ingredients and maybe consider a new chef or way of preparing the foods. They almost seem a bit canned/frozen and microwaved. :( And for that quality - it's overpriced.
by Ronald Grageda on ATMOSPHERE: It was a Sunday night (after xmas) and it was crowded around 9pm! Drag queens performing downstairs (near main entrance). Really turned into a dance party after the drag queens. Have your dollar bills ready for the show! Lots of hot guys. Some of my straight friends went and had a good time. MUSIC: Awesome dance music - very upbeat including remixes, techno. PRICES: No cover! Drinks pretty cheap - my pear vodka on the rocks was $6. CONCLUSION: What a fun place! Good drinks and fun crowd. Plus, girls don't have to worry about being hit on!
by monika l. on Dig the fact that it's so spacious. I have only been there for "Stompy" parties on Sunday nights. I live up the street so the commute is nice. They have a bangin' croud that goes to Stompy parties. Lots of friends. I know they have salsa night on Thursdays and it is always so packed outside. Can't even imagine what it's like behing the fence. The staff that I met were all friendly and they had in and outs. I like the landscaping layout. If they had more house parties, I would definately go more.
