(Continuing from my cheesehunt hunt review.) Geno's was the second cheesesteak place my friends and I went to on our cheesesteak hunt. You can't miss this place because it's right across from Pat's and they both have colorful lights blasting so if you miss it, you've got problems. Anyways.. Geno's in my opinion is way overrated. They made my cheesesteak in like 3 seconds (I had the cheesesteak with whiz) and not only was the bread either stale or just hard as hell, but the meat itself was a bit dry... I was pretty disappointed. I expected to be blown into the sky after eating their cheesesteaks but instead I got a frown on my face instead. :( My only question is.. why all the hype? Cause celebs ate here before? Right. Well, why don't you head over to Jim's Steaks and let them show you what a real cheesesteak tastes like.

Came here on Saturday, Valentines day with my girls. We got there kind of late, almost midnight, but there was no line and we were let in immediately. Cover was $20, but the guys who are inside handling cash are awesome, they hooked us up. :) thanks! Once inside, it was a bit smaller than expected, but the crowd was a good mix. The women's bathroom attendant was a bit mean to us, she wouldn't let us hang around to wait for our other friends, but seeing the size of the bathroom, that was understandable. The bars... 5 shots of Grey with OJ chasers = $60. 5 shots of Patron =$75. Ouch. The bartender was really nice though, he was really down to earth and talked with us a little :) The dance floor was a bit tiny, but somehow it worked out okay. The smoking patio deserves a thumbs up. The photographers running around definitely did their jobs. I got home with so many of their cards in my back pocket... haha Overall the crowd was very chill and the guys were super nice and social. My girls and I definitely had a good experience!
