I went her with my sister before meeting up with the rents for dinner. When you first walk into this place it looks just amazing. Huge statue in the back and entire decor of the place is great. They have two bars... One downstairs and one upstairs. The drinks are really expensive but both of the ones we ordered were top notch. It is easy to tell that this place can get to be pretty fun later in the night. Lots of good looking girls all over the place. Def a fun place to checkout.

Today, I finally had the opportunity to try the Liquid Nitrogen Milkshake and I chose the Nutella + Toasted Marshmallows. It had a nice chocolatey flavor and I especially enjoyed the Toasted Marshmallows, but I must say that I was disappointed that it did not seem any different than your average Chocolate Milkshake. Not sure how the Liquid Nitrogen was supposed to make it special, but it certainly was not worth $7. The Milkshake was a huge disappointment, but the food was delicious. Kathleen M. had asked, if I wanted to split a burger, since we were not really hungry. I felt bad, because I told her she could pick which ever burger she liked and then she kept choosing the burgers that the server would then explain were batter fried. Kathleen was a good sport about it and finally settled on the Po Boy burger. The Po Boy burger was a dense patty of shrimp and was very delicious and even better when accompanied by the the crispy, thin fries. Something worth ordering if and when I return in the future. While the burger was tasty, I did not like the atmosphere. I really felt like I was eating at a fast food restaurant and although our server was pleasant and efficient, I did feel that we were rushed to free the table for other patrons. Also, I thought it was ridiculous that there is only one private restroom for each gender and did not appreciate having to stand in line to use it. I enjoyed the shrimp burger and fries. I would not be opposed to returning to try some of the other burgers on the menu.

Decent bar....lousy neighborhood. I went here for a private party and it wasn't set up too well since there were two bars but one of them was used just for the food (although I snuck around pouring my own draft) and almost nobody went to the food bar. Booze selection is really good and you can't complain too much about a place with Chimay. They've got a nice set of couches in the 'lobby' and a bed area too. You've got to park on the street and this isn't the good part of Silverlake. That alone might keep me away from this bar although they've got a sister bar in Santa Monica.
