Indeed it is a trip. My Friday night here was so fun. It is a very interesting and mixed crowd. I felt so grown up being there (that's a good thing). I think it's soo cute that older couples come here and dance dance dance, (way to keep that spark alive!!) the crowd also included cougars, a gay couple, a foreign couple and lots of other random groups and couples... I LOVE to people watch and this was a very fun place to do it. MEANWHILE the BF and I also worked on keeping our own spark alive here, its nice to be able to dress up and go somewhere fancy once in a while. The drinks were OK, the band was good and the DJ was also pretty kick ass. If I was a local I probably wouldn't be a regular but I'm very glad to have had this experience.

If you want to be guaranteed a pool table then this is the spot. They have two pool tables and even around midnight on a Saturday night it wasn't that crowded. This is definitely a dive bar, but a great one! The jukebox was consistently playing awesome music, and not just when I was picking the songs. The drinks were cheap. There were three couches forming a U if you want to chill, a decent size bar, a big screen tv and a few other tvs playing sports and just a super laid-back vibe. This isn't the type of place I would come to hit on guys but I will definitely be back with friends.

This is one of my favorite places to hang out in the Mission. Yay for being close to home (2-3 blocks). Yay for having Kobe beef sliders. Yay for having a relatively low percentage of hipster patrons. Double Yay for Shawna/Shauna the bartender. Not only is she super cute and remembers my drink, but she's got some serious bartending chops under her belt. Bartenders everywhere should take notes when watching her just blaze through customers and drinks with finesse, speed, and a smile. Boo for an ever increasing Marina crowd... don't you guys own anything besides striped dress shirts?
