What I dislike about Vessel: they pack way more people in than they should without turning up the air conditioning, the dance floor is actually pretty small, and there's a two bottle minimum for table service on a Saturday night for a maximum of eight people. Not exactly ideal for a birthday party.
by Xiomara Swansbrough on Let's wait in line for no reason for an hour and a half! Let's pay $10.00 to get in! Now, let's dance in this giant cube! If you absolutely HATE clubs with good music and atmosphere then you should definitely check out Middlesex. Oh, and it's a breeder bar.
by Megan R. on The blue note is a nice low key place to experience jazz. The only down side is that they run out of seats and you can end up sitting next to complete strangers in a cramped space if you do not fill a table with your party. The food was pretty good considering it is not a restaurant, but a jazz club. Enjoy.
