Very attentive staff, bottle prices are average and the VIP Section are set up where you never miss the action!! Two Thumbs UP! Will definitely be back!!
by Rosaria Towlerton on Minna looms large in the SF night life scene for 20-and-30-somethings, but for some reason I've managed to avoid it all these years. Well, at least for a while - years and years ago, I went to a couple bike-culture-related events here, but the space was a little different then. Last night at the "Pin it Up, Babycakes" event I met up with Jessica P. and others after work for a bit, but it was a little bit of a letdown. First off, I got in just after 9 so the cover was in effect, and I had to wait while they found some 5s to break the 20s that I and the couple in front of me had. The party I was meeting got in before the cover. The pin up event was standing room only, so there was no way to get into the room to watch it, and nobody told me that up front. And then the beer selection - I could have used more local or interesting beer than Sierra - Speakeasy, anyone? There were sexy and cool folks out that night for the pinup event, though, and it was a good crowd, there was just no burlesque watching to be had, and I ended up only being there for 20 minutes before we moved on . . . Next time I'll probably have a better time @ Minna, provided I get there early . . .

But if you can misplace your judgement before entering this qanat-like space, you are guaranteed to have a great time.
