by Sacha Golda on We just went to Barchi on last Sunday, we were surpriesed that they served HH all day, on top of that, they have a new drink call Bloody sake only $1.50, ( is spicy sake with bloody Mary mix) it's taste so good, perfect for Sunday hang over! Good food, good drink and good price, definited will be back!
by David S. on Went on a Thursday night which I believe is hospitality night if I'm not mistaken. I think there was a fair share of strippers in the house. I heard some guy say the Cheetah girls were on their way. Place was packed. I feel this club has a very flawed design. Everyone wants to dance by the bar which doesn't work well. The actual dance floor in back was empty. If they put the club dancers and fire girl in the dance area I think people would follow. It makes it hard to get a drink when some guy that can't dance is blocking your approach. Lots of clumsy drunks didn't help either. People are constantly bumping into you. If you can't deal with that type of atmosphere I would suggest going elsewhere. Heneikens were only $5 which was a plus, thought I would be paying $7 or $8. We got there at midnight and it was a $15 cover. I'd be willing to check it out again sometime.
by Luciana Verstraete on This is a nice spot. Went here on Saturday. I'm going to try to not say all the same stuff everyone else has said. I got right in (use a promoter people, come on it's NYC!) got right to our table and sat down. The decor (as everyone else has said) was great, nice vibe. Here's why it didn't get 5 stars: - The DJ downstairs, SUKKED! he couldn't mix at all. I'm a DJ, so when I hear someone sound horrendous trying to mix songs it hurts my ears, and my heart. The worst part was thinking about how much money he was probably making that night. smh. - People were talking about how hard it is to get in to. You serious?! That place was OVER PAKKED. It's too small to allow all the people in that they did. We were downstairs where it was decent, but upstairs was wall to wall. I couldn't believe people upstairs were having so much fun, because, i mean it was REALLY pakked up there. - Apparently (now this isn't confirmed yet since I've only been there once) there are only 2 bathrooms servicing the entire 2 floor establishment. That just can't work. The guys bathroom was running smoothly (the bathroom attendant had everything in order for sure) but the ladies line was going on forever, as you would probably imagine. - I looked at the bottle list (of course just for "schnitzengiggle") and found a 9L bottle of champagne for $55,000. Seriously that's what it said. First of all, who buys a 9 LITRE bottle of champagne? also, who spends $55,000 in a club?! if anyone can answer either of those questions message me. Thanks. All in all, it's an alright spot, but I would imagine if you were upstairs, you can't give it more than 3 stars. It would've been at a 4 star night if the DJ was good, but he was really awful. The upstairs guy was on point though, too bad it was so pakked up there....
