by Gerard Hochmuth on On a family trip here, we decided to go to "Salt Lick," a BBQ restaurant we saw on the Food Network channel. This place had you seated at wooden tables, so don't expect fancy leather seats. The service is normal, not too fast or slow, and the waiters/waitresses were very cheerful and happy. I'd say the food was pretty good, yet the BBQ sauce was pretty tangy that day, and stung my cut lip, (ouch!). I got the ribs, which I thought was okay, yet I would have liked a tad more meat on the bone. The desert was AMAZING! My family of four shared a peach cobbler that everyone adored. The pricing was reasonable too! I'd say if you can, you should try this place.
by Chauncey Longan on Brunch on the weekends is quite a spread; they only offer the buffet. I think it was $20 per person for standard brunch fare AND Dominican fare. Downside is we got charged extra for OJ when opting out of the mimosa as a part of the buffet. They had reasonable service and I loved the live, Gypsy King-like music.
