But you have to know where you're going to get there - they're not likely to get much foot-traffic as it's kinda tucked away on a little side street, but once you do get in, you will enjoy it! The interior decoration is super cool looking and the food is awesome. A bit pricey but well worth it in my opinion.
by Dominique Durtsche on The weather is warm and the boat is open again. I've been before but this past Saturday was crazier than ever. Maybe because everyone is tired of being cooped up in the rain and was excited for clear, sunny weekend weather. This place was packed! It's wall to wall, port to starboard people from the front bar, the back bar, the grill, to the rooftop and the dancefloor. We got multiple buckets of coronas and most people at the table ordered burgers. I checked out the grill and those guys work hard making calamari, hot dogs, burgers, spiced fries, and salads. The crowd is pretty eclectic. I have to say, many of New York's most attractive were out in full force, with just a sprinkle of annoying dudes/girls. Only suggestion, play something other than house. I like house music, but this selection was boring and repetitive.
by Raba on im the manager of the kokomo inn is not a motel is a bar is one of the best bar in the usa if you look more in to it it was named one of the top 10 in the usa but now its been down hill sence then im 21 going on 22 and I am hoping to make it there again my family has owned it for years and im going to make it my dream to make it more then the 10 in the us so please stop in 2009 im young but im beautiful and i put my heart and soul in this bar. please come and see us i will make shure u have a blast at the kokomo inn the name well be change to THE KOKOMO so every one dont think its a motel thanks and i hope to see you soon
by Velma Elzey on Went here for my friend's 21st & thankfully he got his own booth so we didn't have to do dance too much on the hella crowded dance floor. I wouldn't have gone here if it was for his b-day, & after that nite I won't be coming back. 1 star for the nice bouncers & for getting in free even though we were a few minutes late. 1 star for the decor & the okay music. A BIG minus 1 for the stuffiness, smallness and smelliness of the club. Minus 1 point for the crowd. And minus 1 for the location...yes it's in a good area, the good side of Broadway, but PARKING IS HORRIBLE! We spent an hour looking for parking and that was still about 3 blocks up from the club.
