by Setsuko Loa on This place is easier to get into for guys if you have a lot of girls with you - at least one-to-one, forget about if you're a group of guys unless you come before 11p. Get your stamp earlier, come back later. There's gymnasts on cloth ropes and a good lychee martini. Large wooden dance floor in a large underground, half-arch sewer-like corrugated tin look on the ceiling. Many times packed with Asians, but a nice mix of Caucasians depending on the birthday parties going on. Low seats with no bottle requirements makes it a fun place to sit down or dance around on the area. Deep booths with tables, too, if you get there early enough.

Other than that negativity, the bouncer here was actually pretty nice because he let me back in and not back in the line when I had to run to the ATM. I can't really complain because I actually had fun here dancing with a cutie as well as meeting a bunch of his pretty awesome friends. The music, despite being plainly hip/hop (I'm a trance gal, hahaha) was not that bad. And the DJ played a great mix set. Plus, for all you voyeurs out there. If the drinks were not enough, you had an eyefull of girls in lingerie strutting out their stuff along the long u-shaped bar. Other than that, the typical velvet burgundy boudoir feeling was still apparent. I use to come here more often back in the heyday of getting on guest lists. Now I feel too old walking out of such said establishment. A good mixed ethnic crowd, strong-assed Sapphire/Tonic which after two drinks had me a bit tipsy and giggly like a little girl. Good thing my friend was 6'3". His height made it easier for him to give me a hand from time to time and keep me upright and still standing like a lady. Out of most clubs, the flash and redness was pretty festive. Otherwise, I'll be back only if my cutie date volunteers another dance outing.
