went there once, it's alright. dark, like i like my bars. bartender was good. but i didn't really feel comfortable, which is key for a neighborhood bar. i'd go back for a special occasion, but i'll stick to my good ole tenderloin classic.

Salsa night was fun, but the place got crowded very, very quickly. Salsa dancing doesn't work so well considering the good dancers needed a 10 foot radius to do all the moves in. I did have fun at the free lesson, and getting in for free certainly helped. The space is fun and decorated nicely and the well drinks aren't half bad. I just wish there was more dance floor and less bar - the bar takes up more than half of the main room!

Vertigo ranges from 1 to 5 stars for me. But you know me, I'm an optimist. I like to see the better side of things. So yes, I am a fan of Vertigo. I'll still bring it up as a suggestion if we're trying to figure out what to do for the night. On a quiet night, it's the perfect place to grab a drink and chit chat with friends or the bartender, while watching whatever movie is playing on the big screen. Hooray for bar snacks! I like the fishes cuz they're so delicious! Five stars. On a busier night, dancing can be a lot of fun. And if you were there a little earlier, you'll have secured a table or two and some seating. It seems to be pretty bearable [read: 3-star] up until the crowds start trickling in. When it's too effing crowded to move from one end of the bar to the next, and you're getting elbowed and stomped on - 1 injured star. Ok, make that 2 stars if you're handsy. *grab*
