I came across this restaurant on rateclubs, tons of reviews and a great rating, so we made reservations asap. The decor of this place is beautiful. Huge heavy doors, pretty posh interior with open kitchen, and a wine room that was beautifully displayed in the middle of the restaurant. The food was pretty impressive - we ordered a bunch of small plates to share. Of course we had to try the fried goat cheese balls with honey, and it lived up to the hype, truly amazing melt in your mouth, salty and sweet delight! the bread was not impressive, i don't think i'm on the same page with other rateclubsers about that. we also got the piquillo peppers with braised short rib, and it melted in my mouth. the woodfire pizza was also really good, i love any pizza that's wood-fired, and the portion is great for sharing (about 8 slices). we also had the charcuterie plate, and it was divine. to top it off, i got a heaping 2-3 scoops of olive oil ice cream. i was blown away. it was like chocolate chip ice cream with very fine pieces of chocolate and a salty flavor due to the olive oil. super great, you just have to try it! our server was also amazing, super happy, polite, and checked in at great intervals. i'd definitely come back here on a later trip and bring more people!

So, as Im about to leave this review I noticed that in the pictures here on rateclubs there is a picture of the bathroom. I have the very same picture on my phone, and I must say, it simply does not do justice. Beautiful place. Incredible bathrooms... Now Im only saying this because I when I walked back there (which even the walk back there was quite impressive... who knew more people could work at a really full restaurant than that were eating there..) Anyway, press down on the lovely door handle of the bathroom, I am completely surprised to find tiny little black and white tiles all over the floor. Tiny tiles. Set in perfect unison to form quite a nice optical illusion.. The tiles themselves were quite beautiful, but also after a glass of wine, quite a thing to see : ) So after I left the bathroom, I returned the wine release party I was there for, to find Yummy little bites of food walking all around the room. I tasted most delicious tiny kobe burger (I had two after this one), The most wonderful bites of Foie Gras, (which after discovering the process I am completely disgusted with, but at the time were fantastic......some things you are truly better off Not knowing..) Also we tried some curry chicken sticks and several other things all of which were wonderful. Its also fun to peer into their gigantic kitchen and watch the chefs working their magic. Incredible. I watched one of the chefs pick up tiny pieces of parsley and actually search for the most beautiful pieces..... Heres to the the perfect bite!! I love it!! Anyway, all in all this is a huge over the top expensive fantastic place to visit.

Attended a birthday party in the front VIP area. It was positioned well for easy access to the dance floor. The place is a little small so on a crowded weekend I can't imagine it being an easy club to hang at. The bartenders were very good. They knew how to manage their parts of the bar well. Very attentive. The drinks were very good pours. All in all, I enjoyed the evening given that I don't do a ton of clubbing anymore. While an good experience, it was nothing extraordinary.
