I enjoyed the entertainment of Poncho Sanchez, Norman Brown & the Dave Holland Sextet etc. etc. at this wonderful Jazz Club! Yoshi's is great! A wonderful place to relax and enjoy your favorite artists up close and personal!

I had a great time here last nite. I was bummed that I did not get to go in the Rainforest and the last planetarium show ended. Even though it is until 10pm seems like the exhibits close earlier so you have to spend the rest of your time in the Aquarium. I enjoyed it, reminded me when I was younger and got to touch Starfish and Sea Urchins. All together it is really cool and a chill spot to go. Music was good and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I love that type of energy. I will be back ;)

I was surprised, but I really liked Tao.  I took a friend who was in town from Texas, kind of as a joke because it looked like a huge, over-priced PF Chang's to me.  Imagine my surprise when every drink and every item we ordered was good - really good.  I had the lychee martini (which was wonderful), we tried two different types of dumplings (the pork and the lobster & shrimp (get them steamed, not fried) - awesome), then I had the red dragon martini (ruby red grapefruit based - delicious), then the sea bass (yummy) - my friend had some sake that he said was really good and the tuna, which he also liked a lot. It wasn't particularlly cheap (I think the whole bill, drinks included, was around $200), but it wasn't over the top expensive either.  And the actual space is pretty cool - instead of being tacky or overdone, I thought the giant buddha actually kind of worked in the restaurant and the lighting was dim, but not too dim.  The service was totally on point.  I just can't think of anything really negative to say about Tao. One tip: if you have to wait for your table, go to the bar upstairs.  Everyone heads directly to the bar downstairs, near the hostess stand, and it is jam packed and nearly impossible to get a drink.  The upstairs bar is much less populated and has all the same options.
