by Miss Greinke on Parish has a great patio - both for the restaurant and by the market. The food at Parish has varied from mediocre to great. Lately, since they have a new chef, it's been more great than mediocre. The gumbo rocks. Their brunch is awesome. Croissants = delicious (half price in the market after 8pm). The Mountain Trout was a little bland. Andouille crusted catfish = delicious. Cod was also delicious. Shrimp burger was great, too. The vegetable sandwich is delicious, but a little greasy. The hummus and vegetable sandwich? Gross. The market is a nice touch if you just want to swing in and grab something - whether it's something to eat, a gift, coffee or a bottle of wine. They host regular wine tastings, too. Regularly busy, friendly staff.
