by Florance Brault on If you want to attend Exchange for diversity in people you'll have to look elsewhere on Saturday nights! I must agree with other rateclubsers about the AZN invasion on Saturday nights, where the ratio between girls to guys was 1million:1 ; this statement is a hyperbole of course to make a point! People I've met were in the range of 21- 35 years old. Girls and guys were dressed up but not enough to give a Vegas vibe. It was great to get free entrance on a Saturday night just minutes before midnight for me and three other girls w/o having to wait in line. Entrance into the old LA stock exchange building was attractive with tall neon lit trees leading the way down a huge corridor towards the bathrooms. The second floor is where one huge dance floor resides with two full sized bars on either side. A third level exists as a balcony occupied by mostly table service overlooking the entire dance floor and DJ stage. There are no other dance floors, so patrons are subject to whatever music one DJ decides to play, which was mainly house and hip-hop top 40's. The last hour after 2am was definitely mostly techno, which is not my cup of tea. There were two separate occasions where the music stopped briefly due to triggering the fire alarm, inciting the drunken crowd to boo, which immediately stopped once the music was turned back on. Street parking can be tough, therefore lot parking can be found for as little as $5 and at most for $20. I would attend Exchange again, if the night goes just as smoothly as it did my first time attending. However, I would never pay $20 as there are tons of other places in D.Town to hang out for free!

Pros -Hot Tub -Stiff Drinks -Moderately Priced Meals (much cheaper than restaurants in the area) -Arugala and Prosciutto pizza Cons -I cant really think of any
