by Roberto Okolo on Revising this review because the establishment cares enough their customers, and the owner Scot sent me a very sincere apologetic email. Have to agree, there are hit or miss days in any establishment. Came here with friends to a very packed lounge with people walking all over the place. The house music was okay, but people were spilling their drinks on me. Not much of a "Lounge" when there is no place to lounge around. Either way, I will give Infusion Lounge a second chance.
by Chang Leven on I took down my other Cat Club review because it just wasn't up to my usual standard. Let me try again. I've been to Cat Club twice in the last ten years. Seven or eight years ago I was invited to an Edwardian themed party there full of people dressed like Dickens characters. It was fairly obnoxious and not very fun so I left as soon as I could. Last time I went was a couple months ago as the last stop on a 13 hour birthday bar crawl. When I was invited I didn't realize I'd be the only guy in a group of crazy fun girls from Sacramento; I call them "The Sacramaniacs". There was one other guy at first but he couldn't handle the off the hook debauchery and whimpered off early on. The theme of the party was "20 years of The Cure" and that was just fine because some of Robert Smith's music strikes a real cord with me. I even was coaxed into dancing, which I almost never do. Now here's the reason for the three; they gave me my beer in a plastic cup. They look like regular pint glasses but you notice how light they are when you pick them up and they smell like plastic when you try to drink. I like my beer to smell like beer!

The first time I went I made the mistake of getting the Velvet Margarita which came in a hollowed out pineapple. I was plowed, and I liked it. Also, the decor is pretty amazing, and the atmosphere is pretty warm and inviting. I dig.
